Pilgrims of Christ

When interest in becoming a nun heightened and the previous monastery was nearly filled, our foundress, Mother Francis, Prioress, made a “pilgrimage for Christ” to create a new beginning in the Danvers Carmel.

Pilgrimage’s future vision

We are a family in Christ and our prayer is that, as the years go by, the women who come here will continue to nurture and strengthen this great love for God and love for one another that now reigns. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.
